Do you ever discover new comic events completely by accident?
I was browsing entertainment sites during a coffee break and somehow ended up on https://www.firstcomicsnews.com/x-men-age-of-revelation/. I wasn't even looking for X-Men news, but the overview caught my attention because I'd stopped reading comics years ago. After going through it, I realized how much had changed, yet it still felt familiar enough to make me want to catch up. I even pulled a few old comics off my shelf later that evening just to compare them with the newer direction.

I know exactly how that happens. I don't try to follow every release anymore because there are simply too many. Instead, I read a summary first and then decide whether the story is worth my time. That approach has saved me from buying books that probably wouldn't interest me. If the setup sounds good, I'll continue with the actual issues, and if not, I just move on without feeling like I've missed something important. It's a much more relaxed way to enjoy comics than trying to keep up with every announcement or crossover.
