All About Veterans Cup

Bridging generations of veterans one cup at a time

Established in 2019, Veterans Cup is a 501c3 publicly supported charity.  Our slogan is Bridging Generations of Veterans one cup at a time.  Veterans Cup has a coffee on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th Wednesday at the American Legion Post 55 at 111 Miller Street in Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Veterans, spouses, and advocates for veterans are invited for free coffee &  donuts, camaraderie and information vital to veterans. Veterans Cup also helps establish coffees in other parts of North Carolina and eventually other states.  Executive Director Sandy Whitaker coordinates veterans groups as virtual veterans council on a regular basis.  The goal of the coffees is to build peer to peer support networks, redirecting PTSD and helping prevent suicide. Veterans Cup hosts several events including the Annual Vietnam War Veterans Day Welcome Home and the Triad Area Veterans Day Parade.
